Setting up custom domain DNS with Cloudflare

In this guide, you will be learning how you can create a DNS record for your custom domain with Cloudflare. Let's get started.

The first thing that you need to do is login to your Cloudflare account and then select your domain.

Add DNS record

Next, click on the "DNS" from the left menu. After that add a new DNS record.

In the DNS section, add a CNAME record with these settings:

  • Name: [subdomain] (eg um for um.yourdomain.com)
  • Target: whitelabel.usermaven.com
  • Proxy Status: DNS only (this is important!)
